   ….. 71 years before Mo’Nique accepted her award for the best supporting actress Hattie McDaniels was recognised for her role in Gone with the Win. The first African-American Woman to ever receive an Oscar, just like Mo’Nique said in speech Miss Hattie endured so she wouldn’t have too.
